What is PDAccess

PDAccess is a unified PAM + IAM platform delivered as SaaS or on-prem, built on a proxy model.

What PDAccess Is

PDAccess is a single platform that unifies two capabilities that teams usually buy as separate products: privileged access management (PAM) and identity access management (IAM).

Privileged access is the part that breaks: root on a server, sysadmin on a network device, the service account in the CI pipeline, the SQL admin in the vault. Identity access is the front door: who can log in, how they authenticate, and whether they can be held accountable for what they do.

PDAccess treats both as one problem. One platform, one policy model, one audit trail — whether the target is a Linux host in a datacenter, a switch in an ICS/OT segment, or a database in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

The Proxy Model: Your Infrastructure Stays Yours

The architectural idea that sets PDAccess apart is the proxy model.

Instead of asking customers to rip out their infrastructure, stand up a new perimeter, or route traffic through a black box they don’t control, PDAccess installs lightweight proxies inside the customer’s own systems, network, and cloud. Every privileged session is then brokered through those proxies:

  • Access proxies carry the session: Web Based Terminal, Native SSH, Native RDP/VNC, and Database (SQL client).
  • Identity proxies carry the identity: TACACS, RADIUS, LDAP, and OAuth2.
  • A Web content proxy brokers secure browsing sessions.
  • A client handles local port forwarding for tools that need direct connectivity.

The customer keeps their servers, their network, their cloud accounts, and their data. What changes is that privileged access now flows through a broker that enforces policy, injects credentials the user never sees, and records everything — text and video — for audit.

Two Deployment Models, One Platform

PDAccess is delivered in two shapes, matched to where you are:

Model Built for Where it runs
SaaS Small and mid-size companies, MSSPs Central PDAccess platform; proxies installed in the customer’s cloud instance
On-prem Large enterprises, datacenter, air-gapped, ICS/OT, compliance-driven environments Your own infrastructure, with the same proxy architecture

In both models the relationship is the same: a central PDAccess platform brokers sessions through proxies the customer controls. In SaaS, the platform is hosted and ready in minutes at https://<customer_name>.pdaccess.com. On-prem, the platform runs inside your environment, which is exactly what air-gapped and ICS/OT customers need.

Capabilities That Come Standard

  • Forced MFA — multi-factor authentication is enforced, not optional.
  • Google login — SSO with Google as a first-class option.
  • Zero-knowledge credential brokering — users authenticate; the credential is injected into the session and never exposed.
  • Session recording — text and video, across terminals, RDP/VNC, and database sessions.
  • Unified audit — one trail across identities, sessions, and credentials.

Compliance and Multi-Cloud

PDAccess maps cleanly onto the frameworks auditors ask about — PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPAA, ISO 27001 — because the evidence (who, what, when, and a recording of it) is generated automatically instead of assembled by hand.

The same platform spans AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises, so a hybrid footprint doesn’t mean a patchwork of tools.

The Bottom Line

If you remember one thing: PDAccess is a unified PAM + IAM platform built on a proxy model, delivered as SaaS or on-prem. You keep your infrastructure; PDAccess brokers, records, and audits every privileged session that crosses it.

That’s what PDAccess is.
